The public was furious. Reactions were strong. Nobody could tell if they were looking at a masterpiece or a machine. Since it could be an AI copy, the anger was real. Since it could be neither, the confusion was total. It became a performance. The artifact — Shloms' post — sold for $46k. The story — the documented reactions — became collectable. The Jam followed: artists responded, minted their interpretations, and the work kept expanding. A painting made in 1906 became a living onchain event in 2024.
